Goulburn. I couldn’t understand why Victorian railfans were so keen on NSW,
until I went there to see it for myself. For a more recent view (10/09/2004)

5241 and an 1868 8-wheel radial carriage restored at the Goulburn Waggon Repair
Works. I couldn’t believe this thing, with its rigid wheelbase, could run
without falling off at every bend in the track. Last used at Harden fifteen
years previously, it was externally restored for the Goulburn railway centenary
celebrations a month earlier than when this picture was taken.

85-21. 3230. Goulburn Loco.
Thanks to Mark Nethery for
identifying the loco in 85-19.
